Thankful Thursday

Here is my first post about Thankful Thursday! I will mention what we did for our anniversary:

I am thankful for my husband! Last night, despite needing to work later, Hubby came home and took me put for dinner wherever I wanted.He discussed how bad he felt for not making it more romantic. (I told him that we have a lot going on: new baby, new house. A dinner out is perfect). We drove down to a sushi restaurant that is affiliated with one of our favorites. However when we got there. Miss Lilly was upset. So we decided to go to the original to see if she would fall asleep. She did! and to our surprise we found our favorite sushi chef  there. He started working thee and then created his own restaurant, but it didn't go well. So hooray!! After all that driving, it was worth it. ( I forgot to mention that we stopped and got cupcakes from the place tha did our wedding. It's our little tradition.

I cant forget to mention how thankful I am for my baby girl!! She is the best baby!! 

I love her so much!!!

Happy Happy Anniversary to Us!

Welp...we've made it! Three years married. Here is a bit about our love story and  a few posts about our love (I know so sappy, but common I only get to do this once a year or so )

10 things about Steven and My relationship

1. We met in high school on a bus to Christian Camp

2. We didn't start dating till the following year, which was ambushed by many of my "friends" trying to convince me that Steven was better for them.

3. I knew I loved him shortly after we began dating, but he didn't know until we were seniors.

4. We said 'I love you' 3 years after dating (that is crazy to me and not something I brag about, but gosh what took him so long)

5. We are lovers of sushi and cinema.

6. We now have a new addition, Lilly Mae

7. We've added fitness to our life (I'm a runner and he enjoys P90x)

8. We dated for almost 7 years before we got married.

9. He proposed with a picnic and created a children's book. (he even had a photographer hidden)

10. Every  morning he kisses me goodbye and every evening he kisses me when he gets home

Okay that is my time to brag! I can't wait to spend the next 100 years with him! He is the most amazing husband. He works hard to provide for us and loves us girls so much!!

Happy 3 years!

AHHHHH! I got my new camera!! My husband surprised me. We try to stay true to the traditional anniversary gifts. Last year was paper and he wrote me a sweet poem. This year I was dying to find out what creative thing he would do for cotton. I open a card that he wrote and inside revealed a cotton pad that said "1 token". It said to redeem at the computer. Being as silly as I am, I thought that he was letting me use his face wash (which I love). So he brought the computer over to me to reveal my present:

a Nikon D3100!
