Coffee Date

Photobucket
ON this coffee date, I would tell you that I had a great first halloween with Lilly. She was a candy fairy with her cousin. We started the day by going to a playgroup, then Mother Goose on the Losse at the library, then another playgroup. Lilly took a little nap, then on to sushi and trick or treating with the family. She got quite a bit of candy. I think it was because they though she was undernourished (hehe).
Then yesterday, Thursday, was my birthday!!! I really didn't expect anything because we have Lilly now, so I don't care as much about gifts for me as I do for buying things for her. :) The mommy in me is taking over.
But I celebrated last Sunday with my hubby's family...and I got a CRICUT!!! YAHOO!
I'm so excited about making Lilly a banner and decorations for her first birthday.
+I guess I'm planning a little early+
On Halloween, Hubby surprised me with a New iPHONE!
THen yesterday, my grandparents came over to see Lilly.
I got my cup of coffee.
Went to the mall with a friend.
Bought a tough case for the phone (So it won't shatter when I'm running with the stroller)
Then came home. Hubby made me dinner (which was a not only a treat, but he made the BEST FISH TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD. it actually might be the best meal I have ever had. These suckers were good).

We watched 'What to Expect When Expecting' and it made me cry and laugh.
So over all I had a great week.
I was reminded how truly blessed i am.
It was fun getting birthday wishes all day. Its the little things that make you special Like getting Facebook messages from people you don't always talk to. Or spending the days with friends. I truly enjoy my days with family and am glad to have family that support me.
I can't wait for Lilly to experience birthdays. I hope to make her feel special and blessed but also feel loved.

Coffee Date

If we were having coffee today, I would probably order an exorbitant amount of coffee. Last night was a doozy. I'm not sure if Little Miss is teething or sick, but she struggled to sleep last night. She also woke up to feed and then started crying. It hurts so much to see her ache.
Thank goodness she work up with a smile, as always.
I also had a horrible dream.. HORRIBLE
And of course it was weird.
I will just tell you briefly...
I AM NOT READY TO LEAVE LITTLE MISS.
I have left her with my MIL for an hour but I haven't gone longer.
I dreamt that I had to go to work and she was put in a daycare of some sort.
Going back to work has been on my mind a lot.
You see I gt my teaching job and then found out I was pregnant the day school began.
I had always dreamed of being a home school teacher while my babies were growing up so that I could work, but have a flexible schedule.
Unfortunately, just when I thought 'oh good, jobs for teachers are coming back.'
A charter school nearby, that employs home school teachers, closed.
I know taht next year whether I work full time or part time, God will help me in this area ofpain (leaving Lilly with someone).
Thousands of women do it, so why can't I?
I think that there is so much I want to give Lilly and ways I want to raise her. So often I have seen daycare systems not fully take care of all their clients, and who can blame them.
Its an area I need to be praying more about.

Thank you for letting me share.

Friday Letters and Coffee Date

Well it's Friday again.
The fall weather has finally graced Northern California.
This week we had  100 degree weather!?!
CRAAAAZY.
On our coffee date I would tell you that I am starting my insane relationship with coffee again. Oh dear!!
I also must tell you that low-fat milk has left my refridgerator.
Well...there is actually some in there :)
I am now an Almond milk gal (Blue Diamond of course)
I have been busy with my mommy group and trying to get back into shape.
I've decided that my goal is to be able to do a half-marathon before Lilly Mae is 1.
ERRRR... I don't even want to think about that.
Well currently my idea for her birthday party is glitter and bows.
I'm sure I will change my mind.
Which reminds me...
Today Lilly Mae is 5 mo.
(a post will be coming later)
Ooops, my cup is low...
How was your week?

Friday Letters.
Dear Hubby: You impress me so much! I love how you can make our little love laugh. She is getting more and more excited to see you come home. I'm so proud of all of your hardwork and everything that you do so that I can stay home and raise our baby. I am thankful for your hardwork and hope this weekend we can relax and enjoy this gorgeous weather.

Dear Baby girl: 5 months is here!!! Already!?! I can't believe it. You are more beautiful than ever. I love your two new teeth. I love your laugh. I love that you are patient with mommy. I love that you are a cuddler and love to snuggle. I am so blessed by you and know you will teach me how to be a great momma!
Dear Outlander: You are a page turner. I won't say more because I don't wanna ruin it for anyone.
Dear Northern California Weather: Thank you for realizing its fall. Your temper was stubborn and I didn't enjoy the heat you were bringing each day.

Coffee Date and Friday Letters

Well Good Morning....

here is how our week went
We had several lovely playdates this week with our mommy group. I love htose ladies!! It is such a relief to find friends, who are female and have babies. Just great. I would also like to mention that my She Reads Truth devotional has been way way WAY behind. I gotta get that done, not because I have too, but because I am anxious to read Galatians. A wonderful book.
I feel like October is coming quickly and will be leaving just as fast. Every weekend is already booked with trips, weddings, birthdays, baby showers. It's insane!! But glad to have some fun things on the calendar.
I can't wait till we can get Lilly her pumpkin!! Oh I am excited!!!
And her costume....shall I keep it a surprise?!
Well my coffee is getting cold...does that happen to anyone else.
Talk and talk and talk and then, you realize 'Man, my coffee is cold."
Well here is to the 100 degree weather that will be visiting me this weekend.

How is your cup of coffee? Is your October going to be busy?

And now for my letters.

Dear Hubby: Thank you for taking me out last night for dinner. Thank you for laughing at Modern Family. Your laugh always makes me want to join in. I am so glad we had a bit of extra time this week together, although it was because you were sick. I am SO STINKING PROUD that you were able to finish the TOUGH MUDDER. Not only finish accomplish every obstacle without falling or giving up. You are my hero and I'm so glad Lilly has you as her daddy.

Dear Lilly: Ummm. I just love you! You make me smile. I'm glad you have your two teeth now. But now all your pictures will show more evidence of you becoming a big girl. I bought you some cute clothes and am so excited to put you in them.!!! You are the sweetest baby and I am blessed. Truly blessed. to be your mama. I can't wait to read you your favorite story or cuddle with you and your stuffed animal. YOu are growing so quickly and I am proud of you. You are almost at sitting and crawling will only be weeks away.

Dear OUtlander the book: I am glad I found you (or was recommended to you). I feel like I haven't had a great book to read in a while.

Dear Body: Well Done. Well done. You accomplished a FIVE mile run under 50 minutes (45). I know you are sore and have worked hard. Thank you for letting me accomplish that goal.

Dear God: Well I just so lucky with what you have blessed me with. I am thankful for my health, friends, my husband, and Lilly. I'm thankful I can run and read and sip and enjoy coffee. Thank you!!

Dear Readers/Followers: Thank you for reading. I would love to get back into writing, as I have been inspired for a while to write a short novela, but I'd like to just get back into writing. :)

Thanks for stopping by Hurley Love. Have a great fall weekend.
